Kids Vegan meal Ideas

Are you struggling to come up with vegan meal ideas for your kids? Then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve put together a some ideas to help inspire you. I will continue to update this list, but for now here are 5 different lunches our 4-year-old is loving lately! Bonus: This applies to packing adult lunches for work and these are great vegan recipes for picky eaters.

You’ll notice that all of these lunch boxes are balanced with healthy foods that give kid’s energy (carbohydrates), fiber, and protein. Keep in mind that whole plant-based foods contain a good amount of protein on their own, so it’s not always necessary to opt for a meat alternative. However, if you or your kids are just starting out or dabbling in vegan foods, sometimes having a meat alternative is the best option because it’s an easy substitute. Our little vegan doesn’t really like meat alternatives, so we use vegetables that contain a high amount of protein for his main dishes and that has been working great for us.

I hope all of these plant-based kids meal ideas inspire you!
